Character Info
Jan. 18th, 2015 03:51 amAge: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: straight, but he'll pretend to like dick if it gets him what he wants
Medical Info: There are razor scars on his wrists and a circular burn near his right thumb, likely from touching the hot metal of a lighter to his flesh. They're all from self-harm, and they're all pretty old. All appearances suggest he hasn't cut in a while.
Important Info: Tate is dead. Dead as disco. He's a ghost, but he's as solid as anything. You can touch him, you can beat him up--do your worst. He likes it rough. After a while, he'll heal right back up, anyway. He might feel slightly colder than he should, or he might feel warm. Up to you. To a human, he even smells alive--a deep, almost leather smell, with just a hint of gunpowder. If you can tell he's dead, you're probably psychic. Literally.
Appearance: his style is old-school grunge, like Kurt Cobain. He's usually in a loose sweater and worn-out jeans. When he's talking, he's often fidgeting--picking at the sleeve of his sweater, turning a knick-knack in his hands--whatever. It's to distract himself. Otherwise, he's very still. Like the clear, golden surface of a river, deceptively calm. Beneath the surface, the currents will sweep you away, and you will drown tumbling through the suffocating darkness.
Don't say I didn't warn you. Tate is not a good person. He just has good intentions. You wouldn't think so, normally. Everything about him is genuine, from his smiles to the sympathy in his eyes. He really does care when he says he does--he just happens to care in a different way. He's psychotic.
OTHER: If your character could/will pick anything up from him, spiritually or observationally, let me know. I really don't care what they pick up from him. I'll give you whatever you need in brackets. Hell, maybe I'll get you to watch Murder House.
